According to research, many concussions that are experienced go unreported each year. This can be because the concussion symptoms may not always appear right away and can delay for up to a few days, and can be confused and related to other complications. Although there is no specific treatment option for this condition, the Mindset team of experts offers personalized repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (PrTMS®) to manage a concussion in San Diego. This helps restore brainwaves to a normal state. Therefore, if you notice any of the following signs, reach out to the Mindset team for help.

You Have Problems Remembering Details
If you can’t remember the details about what happened when you preceded an injury, or your thoughts are not focused, it can be caused by a concussion. You can also feel slowed down, and you may respond to things slowly and keep on repeating yourself. When you experience this, please share this with your provider at Mindset to receive the care you require.
You Have been Feeling Foggy
The immediate sensation you can get after a concussion may be slow waving dizziness. This is because your vestibular system is responsible for your brain’s ability to interpret movement, and a concussion can disrupt the area. If this happens, you may feel detached, disassociated, and foggy. This is an experience you can’t explain, but it generally feels like your head is underwater. However, if you experience such symptoms, please speak to your provider for further assistance.
You Experience Blurred Vision
An ocular concussion can make it difficult for you to bring your eyes together, coordinate your movements, or process images. However, such symptoms are more likely to occur to you if you have had a lazy eye. But for whichever case you experience such a symptom, please report to your provider for medical assistance.
You Feel Like Your Head is Full
Concussions can cause migraines. The difference between such migraines and other migraines caused by other conditions is that they are severe, and you experience pain that can be described as a sensation of fullness or a pressure-type feeling. The migraines can also be accompanied by nausea and vomiting. If you experience such symptoms or your friend tells you they are experiencing this, seek medical assistance immediately.
You Feel Anxious
Being anxious is not uncommon. However, it’s good to discern the changes you are experiencing in your mood or personality, particularly after a hit to the head. If you had a concussion, you could experience heightened irritability, anxiety, and you can feel over-emotional. Please don’t hesitate to seek expert care and help if this happens to you.
Your Arms, Legs, or Neck Hurts
Sometimes a concussion can occur due to an injury to your arm, leg, or neck. Consequently, you can experience some numbness or tingling sensation in the area of injury. When it occurs in your legs, you may lose balance. Report any of these to your doctor to get the necessary help you require.
If you suffer any post-concussion syndrome as mentioned above or others, what you need to do is withdraw from any activity that you were getting involved in and report the symptoms to a specialist. Please don’t try to do some self-help hacks on your own, as some can make the symptoms worse. Allow the Mindset team to help you.
